Our Statement Of Faith:
The Bible is the inspired (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:19-21) and infallible (Ps 19:7) Word of God (Heb 4:12) and comprises His complete and final revelation to man (2 Pet 1:3; Jude 1:3). The Bible, as originally written, is without error in whole or in part, including theological concepts as well as geographical and historical details.
God existed from all eternity (Gen 1:1, Deut 33:27, Ps 90: 1-2; John 1:1-4, 1Tim 1:17; Rev 1:8) in three persons: God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Gen 1:26; Matt 28:19). Jesus Christ was God come in human flesh, being fully God and fully man (Isa 9:6; John 1:1, Col 1:15-20; Heb 1:3), except without sin (Isa 53:9, 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:22)
All men are in violation of God's righteous requirements and His holy character both by nature and act (Ps 130:3; 143:2; Ecc 7:20; Isa 53:6; Rom 3:9, 19 & 23; Gal 3:11 & 22; James 2:10; 1john 1:8-10), and are therefore under wrath and just condemnation (Rom 5:12).
The central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man's sins through His substitutionary death (Gal 4:4-5) on the cross (Isa 53:4-11; John 3:15-16; Rom 5:81John 4:9-10), the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His visible, bodily resurrection (John 11:25, 20:14-20; Luke 24:34-42; 1Cor 15:3-6; Acts 1:14&22; 9:1-9).
Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to in individual faith (John 5:24; Rom 1:17; 3:22 & 28; 4:51; 5:1 & 9; Gal 2:16; 3:11-14; Phil 3:9; James 2:23-26), not trusting in any personal works whatsoever (Rom 3:20), but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone (Rom 10:9).
